Jay Chou is my belief all the time, I think.As everybody knows, Jay Chou is an outstanding musician in the world.Not only because he is good at singing, but also because he can write a lot of excellent songs.His songs spread widely, many Chinese can sing somewhat.As time goes by, Jay Chou becomes the more and the more popular, many teenagers consider him as idol, but few people really understand him.Firstly, Jay Chou is a completist.If he decided to do something, he bound to do his best to finish it.He works hard and devotes himself to the career.That it is to say, improving and perfecting each detail in his masterpieces and concerts is exactly what he wants.In fact, this quality is the most important reason why I love him so much.Secondly, Jay Chou is quite enthusiastic to his friends.He always lends a hand to friends when they are at the nadir of the career.Though now he is a super star, he has hundreds of friends who are from different places.It is all because he is really approachable.His friends all think highly of Jay Chou.Last but not the least, Jay Chou is very filial.Despite he is in a single-parent family, Jay Chou always do what he can to make his mother and grandmother happy.In his eye, mother is his forever lover.He loves her so much that he even used her mother’s name to name his album.These are the reasons why I love Jay Chou for seven years.Not only he is talented , but also because of his quality.I love him deeply but not crazy or blind.He has already become my belief, and will continue to be it forever.

高中英语教学工作总结

时间流逝，高一第二学期已然结束。在这一学期里，我在英语教学，备课，批改作业，以及辅导学生方面都做了一些新的学习和尝试。同时自己也学习了许多先进的教学理+念，进一步深化了专业知识。对于新课程改革也有了更深一步的学习。新课程改革，是一次深刻的改革，新课改倡导全人教育，强调课程要促进每个学生身心健康的发展，培养学生良好的品质和终身学习的能力，新课改倡导建设性学习，注重科学探究的学习，关注体验性学习，提倡交流与合作、自主创新学习，课程改革的成败关键在于教师，教师是课程改革的实施者，作为教师的我必须做好充分的准备，学习新课程改革理论，更新教学观念，迎接新课改的挑战。从上学期开始,在全国上下刮起了”杜郎口风”,在全国掀起了一场 ”杜郎口教学模式”改革，经过研究和探索，我认为”杜郎口教学模式”之所以在全国推广，有其特殊性和先进性，另外，我也清醒地认识到，任何一种先进的教学模式和先进经验都不能照搬，必须结合自己的实际情况，因此，为了将杜朗口先进经验和本校实际想结合，我进行了一系列探索。所以，下面简单地回顾一下开学以来在这些方面所做的一些英语教学工作。

一、面向全体学生，为学生全面发展和终身发展奠定基础。

1、创设各种情景，鼓励学生大胆地使用英语，对他们在学习过程中的失误和错误采取宽容的态度。

2、为学生提供自主学习和直接交流的机会，以及充分表现和 1

自我发展的一个空间。

3、鼓励学生通过体验、实践、合作、探索等方式，发展听、说、读、写的综合能力。

4、创造条件让学生能够探究他们自己的一些问题，并自主解决问题。

二、关注学生情感，营造民主、和谐的教学气氛。

学生只有对自己、对英语及其文化有积极的情态，才能保持英语学习的动力并取得成绩，刻板的情态，不仅会影响到英语学习的效果，还会影响其它方面的发展，情态是学好英语的重要因素，因此我努力营造宽松、民主、和谐的教学空间，做到：

1、尊重每个学生，积极鼓励他们在学习中的尝试，保护他们的自尊心和积极性。

2、把英语教学与情态有机地结合起来，创造各种合作学习的活动，促进学生互相学习，互相帮助，体验成就感，发展合作精神。

3、关注学习有困难的或性格内向的学习，尽可能地为他们创造语言的机会。

4、建立融洽、民主的师生交流渠道，经常和学生一起反思学习过程和学习效果，互相鼓励和帮助，做到教学相辅。

三、加强对学生学习策略的指导，让他们在学习和使用的过程中，逐步学会如何学习，做到：

1、积极创造条件，让学生参与到阶段性学习目标，以及给他们介绍实现目标的方法。

2、引导学生结合语境，采用推测、查阅和协调的方法进行学习。

3、引导学生在学习过程中，进行自我评价，并根据需要调整自己的学习目标和学习策略。

新课程改革不是纸上谈兵，它必须要与实践相结合，所以，我将继续努力学习，积极进取，积极参与课程改革，在课改中不断学习，不断实践，不断反思，愿与新课程共同成长。

Thomas Jefferson Thomas Jefferson is bset remembered as the auther of the Declaration of Independence and as one of the greatest presidents of the United States ,He is also regarded as a great political thinker and diplomat ,and a founder of the Democratic Party.During his two terms as President ,the United States doubled its area when he bought territory west of the Mississippi called the Louisiana Purchase.He was a handsome man ,tall ,straight and well-built ,with kindly ,gentle face.He was a man of many talents.He become one of the leading American architects of his time and designed the Virginia Capitol ,the University of Virginia ,and his own home ,Monticello.He also enjoyed playing the violin in character music concert.In addition ,Jefferson served as president of American Philosophical Society ,the organization that encouraged a wide range of scientific and intellectual research.his collection of more than 6400 books became a major part of the Library of Congress.Jefferson was a truly democratic statesman.He disliked pomp and ceremony ,the so-called upper-class snobbery He believed that only virtue and talents made one man better than another.Money ,tittle and birth could not give a man virtue or talents.He believed that the majority of people could govern themselves and wanted to keep the government simple and frugal.Jefferson loved liberty in every form ,and he worked for freedom of speech ,press ,religion ,and other civil liberty.He hated “every form of tyranny over the mind of man “.Jefferson strongly supported the addition of the Bill of Right to the Constitution of the United States.Jefferson had many slaves ,but he believed slavery was morally wrong.He took no immediate actions against the evil system because he felt the people of his state were not ready for such a major step.He hoped the younger generation would end this system.The inscription that Jefferson wrote for his gravestone reads:”Here was buried Thomas Jefferson ,Author of the Declaration of American Independence ,of the Statue of virginia for religious freedom ,and Father of the University of Virginia.”These were accomplishments that he ranked higher than being President of the United States.

钱伟长——国家利益重于一切的科学泰斗

说到钱伟长，大家可能会感到陌生，或者只知道他是三钱之一。下面就由我来带大家走进这个传奇的科学家钱伟长。

钱伟长是江苏无锡人，中国近代力学之父、应用数学之父，世界著名的科学家、教育家，杰出的社会活动家，中国民主同盟的卓越领导人，中国科学院资深院士。对中国科学发展、改革开放和祖国统一都做出了很大贡献。钱伟长的人生轨迹和学术成就都与“爱国”这两个字紧密联系在了一起。

（一）文理偏科，为救国弃文从理

钱伟长1912年10月9日出生于无锡的一个具有国学功底、创办新学的贫穷的诗书家庭，他的叔父是著名国学大师钱穆——“伟长”这个名字就是钱穆给取的。受叔父的影响，钱伟长在青年时期是一个文史异常优秀，数理一塌糊涂的偏科生。他在高考中语文、历史两门满分，而数理化英四科一共才考了25分。由于文史极具天赋，他被清华大学历史系录取。他入学不久，9.18事变爆发，蒋介石奉行不抵抗政策，说中国战则必败，因为日本人有飞机大炮。听到这个消息后，钱伟长拍案而起，他说：“我不读历史系了，我要学造飞机大炮。”他经过不懈的争取，最终打动了物理系主任吴有训，如愿转到物理系。为了能尽早赶上课程，他早起晚归，废寝忘食，毕其功于一役。毕业时，他成为了物理系中成绩最好的学生之一。

（二）海外留学，潜心钻研

1939年他考取了中英庚款会公费生留学生，但因二战爆发，留学计划被迫中止，他们被改派至加拿大。去加拿大行程是英国人安排的，当得知所乘船只要在日本停留三天时，钱伟长和其他公费生一致认为，在抗日战争期间，经留日本有损国格，于是他们全体愤然离船。后来，英国人道歉说 “不知道你们会有如此强烈的爱国心”。1940年8月他们才乘坐不经日本的船只到达加拿大。1942年，钱伟长获多伦多大学博士学位，前往美国，在世界导弹之父冯•卡门教授指导下从事航空航天领域的研究工作，发表了世界上第一篇关于奇异摄动的理论，被国际上公认该领域的奠基人。冯•卡门对这个得意弟子赞赏有加，爱因斯坦看过他的一篇论文后感叹：“这位中国青年解决了困扰我多年的问题。”

（三）忠于祖国，科学救国

1946年，钱伟长毅然放弃在美国年薪八万美元的工作，以“久离家园、怀念亲人”为由回到祖国，在母校清华大学做了一名教授。1948年美国的研究所邀请钱伟长回去工作,但签证的表格上有一项,要他表明一旦中美发生战争,绝对忠于美国。钱伟长说，我是中国人，当然要忠于中国了。他毫不犹豫地在表格上写下了“NO”，拒绝前往美国。钱伟长还参与创建了北京大学力学系，开创了我国大学里第一个力学专业。新中国成立后，他受到国家重用，在官方担任许多职务，学术研究也进行得很顺利。1956年在国家科学规划会议上钱伟长着眼于国家整体科技实力的提升，提出5项国家科学优先发展重点：原子弹，导弹，航天，自动化，计算机。没想到，与会的学界元老们有400人不同意。支持他的只有刚从国外回来的钱学森和钱三强。最后周总理拍板说：“‘三钱’说的是对的。我们国家需要这个。”“三钱”的称谓，就是这么来的。

（四）戴着右派帽子的“万能科学家”

1957年6月，“反右”运动在全国范围内迅猛展开，钱伟长因曾对清华大学照搬苏联模式的教学思想提出了不同意见，引发了一场历时三个月的大辩论，最终钱伟长被错划为右派，除保留教授职务外，其余职务全部撤消。从被打成“右派”到1966的9年间，这位被困在清华园里的右派科学家先后为各方提供咨询、解决技术难题100多个。后来钱伟长被下放至农村，但其间他仍坚持进行科学研究。红卫兵阻挠其进行研究，他就趁晚上把窗户堵住，彻夜苦读。1968年至1971年他被下放到北京特种钢厂炼钢车间劳动锻炼。由于善于思考发明，被工人们称为“教授”，并发明了当时北京最好的油压机。不久后开始向工人讲课。在科研上，钱伟长什么领域都去研究，在什么领域研究都有收获，于是人们称他为“万能科学家”。相比其他在特殊时期受到不公正对待的学者，钱伟长没有一蹶不振，更没有轻生，他仍旧怀着对祖国的一片热忱，在别人的冷眼下默默地为祖国科学事业做贡献。

1979年中央撤销把钱伟长划为右派分子的决定，钱伟长重新投入祖国的教育事业，直至2010年去世。九十八年，钱伟长用九十八年的人生，研究了一门他认为最重要的科学：爱国。钱伟长一生学过十几个专业，科研生涯涉足几十个行业。每一次重大的改变和选择，都是因为国家的需要。他说：“我36岁学力学，44岁学俄语，58岁学电池知识。不要以为年纪大了不能学东西，我学计算机是在64岁以后，我现在也搞计算机了。”面对这巨大的成就，钱老却坚决否认自己是天才，他说成功的秘诀只有一个，那就是勤奋用功。钱老“开夜车”的习惯从16岁起一直延续到86岁，整整坚持了70年。钱伟长有一句名言：“我没有专业，国家的需要就是我的专业；我从不考虑自己的得与失，祖国和人民的忧就是我的忧，祖国和人民的乐就是我的乐。”正是一颗赤子丹心，以及几十年如一日的刻苦钻研，成就了这个世人敬仰的科学家。做为祖国未来的我们，应该以钱老为榜样，为自己灿烂的未来和祖国美好的明天而奋斗！

钱伟长是2010年感动中国十大人物之一，颁奖词这样写道：从义理到物理，从固体到流体，顺逆交替，委屈不曲，荣辱数变，老而弥坚，这就是他人生的完美力学！无名无利无悔，有情有义有祖国。让我们共同缅怀这个伟大的科学家，让我们为他而自豪吧。
