一、创设情境，激发学生的兴趣

我们可以在教育环境上动一番脑筋，将教室布置成有趣的生活交际场所，给学生提供一个无拘无束、轻松愉快的学习场景。在《牛津英语》教材中，Eddie 和 Hobo两只宠物一直伴随着学生一起学习，学生们对它们的兴趣极其浓厚。特别是每个单元起始部分的 Comic 笑话，学生更是乐于去模仿和表演它们的对话。教师可以将这两只宠物的彩图贴在班级的墙上，让学生感觉自己是在和它们一起学习。除此之外，在教学过程中，我首先出示一幅中国地图，问：“Where is Beijing/Shanghai/Zhejiang?”这时学生积极性一下子被调动起来了，整个课堂非常活跃，他们争着抢着在地图上找到答案，然后自豪地说：“Here it is.”学生兴趣盎然，不但充分地操练了此句型，而且学生也真正地明白了这个英语句型的用场。教学的实际条件，限制了我们不可能每堂课将学生带到课文所表述的实地去进行教学，所以我们应当从生活实际出发，以丰富多彩的形式来创设生活情境，将英语教学活动置于真实的生活背景中，激发出学生强烈的求知欲望。

二、英语课堂教学活动生活化

让生活走进课堂，课堂教学取材于 无忧论文网 实际生活中的人、事、物，学生对这些东西感到亲切、形象、具体可感，不再感到所学知识的神秘，故而可以轻松大胆地让他们去触摸，去感知，去应用，即所谓生活化教学。在英语课堂上，我们教师一定要坚持用简易的 classroom English 及口令讲课，虽然一开始学生会感觉不自然，听不懂，但是在每天都使用这些语言、日积月累的情况下，他们就会明白这些口令的意思。此外,老师与学生的日常交谈也可以适当用英语来表达，比如在课间,我遇到学生一般都是用英语来打招呼和问候,学生会在老师潜移默化的影响下,自觉主动地去运用英语。所以教师一定要以身作则，勇敢地用英语，讲英语，激励学生去体验“在做中学”的真谛。例如充分用好课前 5 分钟，帮助学生增加生活中的英语课外知识。利用课前的 5 分钟，讲一些和本单元的教学内容相关的英语笑话或英语故事等课外的知识，以吸引学习的注意力，激发学生的学习热情。我们利用这 5 分钟和全班同学一起分享，他们可以选择各种各样的方式来表演,比如小故事演讲,情景对话等。通过这种方法学生轻松、自然地投入到了英语学习的状态中，同时也锻炼了他们的口语，学生会感受到生活中的英语原来是如此的有趣。
