一、考试题型和要求
目的是测试学生运用英语书面表达思想的一般能力。考试时间为30分钟，要求写出不少于120个词的短文。六级考试作 文的出题方式有：命题，作文看图画或图表作 文，根据所给文章(英文或中文)写出文章摘要 或大意，给出关键词作文等。考试的作文内容为社会、文化或日常生活的一般常识，不涉及 知识面过广、专业性太强的内容。对作文的要 求是：切题，文理通顺，表达正确，意思连贯，无重大语言错误。内容切题，文字连贯，条理清楚。一)作文评分标准
1．CET检查考生是否达到大学英语教学大纲规 定的六级教学要求，对作文的评判应以此 要求为准则。
2．CET作文题采用总体评分(Global Scoring)方法。阅卷人员就总的印象给出奖励分(Reward Scores)，而不是按语言点的错误数目扣分。
3．从内容和语言两个方面对作文进行综合评 判。内容和语言是一个统一体，作文应表达题 目所规定的内容，而内容要通过语言来表达。要考虑作文是否切题，是否充分表达思想，也 要考虑是否用英语清楚而确切地表达思想，也 就是要考虑语言上的错误是否造成理解上的障 碍。
4．避免趋中倾向。该给高分的给高分，包括 满分；该给低分的给低分，包括0分，一名阅 卷人员在所阅的全部作文卷中不应只给中间的 几种分数。(二)作文评分标准 1．本题满分为15分。
2．阅卷标准共分五等：2分、5分、8分、11分 及14分。各有标准样卷1、2份。3．阅卷人员根据阅卷标准，对照样卷评分，若认为与某一分数(如8分)相似，即定为该 分数(即8分)；若认为稍优或稍劣于该分数，即可加 一分(即9分)或减一分(即7分)。但 不得加或减 半分。
4．评分标准： 2分……条理不清，思路紊乱，语言支离破碎 或大部分句子均有错误，且多数为严重错误。5分……基本切题。表达思想不清楚，连贯性 差。有较多的严重语言错误。8分……基本切题。有些地方表达思想不够清 楚，文字勉强连贯；语言错误相当多，其中 有一些是严重错误。11分……切题。表达思想清楚，文字连贯，但有少量语言错误。14分……切题。表达思想清楚，文字通顺，连贯性好。基本上无语言错误，仅有个别小 错。[注：白卷，作文与题目毫不相关，或只有 几个孤立的词而无法表达思想，则给0分。

二、应试策略
1．）阅卷老师的弱点：
1，快，要求一分钟一份，实际上有老师50秒一份，字迹潦草很吃亏。2．好多老师只看第一段、最后一段，或只看前三、五个句子。
3．对大词、好词的偏爱。如wonderful而不是good，pretty而不是beautiful。
2．）作文题目本身的局限：
1． 字数要求只是泛泛而谈，并不深入，有话可说，不必猜题。
2．规定了主题句，不存在新思想。它说金钱是万恶之源，就批判，说是幸福之本，就推崇。3． 没必要一定写出自己的观点，可以挑好写的写。如my favourite TV program，最好的新闻、体育，而不是“非诚勿扰”。
3} 保证基本正确 四、六级考生的最大问题不是写得太简单，而是严重错误太多。基础一般的同学即使使用小学或中学词汇和句型，只要使用得基本正确，也可以得到及格分数。考生最常犯的语言错误有三类：语法、拼写、标点。最常犯的语法错误包括：时态、冠词、主谓一致、名词单复数等。
4）争取丰富多变，拿高分
基础较好的同学，要想取得四、六级写作高分，应做到丰富多变。丰富多变体现在词汇和句型两方面。同一词语在一句话、一个段落乃至一篇文章中最好 不要重复出现，应尽量使用同、近义词替换（无法替换的关键词除外）。例如：think可以替换为suppose，reckon, assume, argue等词。如果想不到同、近义词，可以使用上义词进行替换。此外，句型也应富于变化，不要拘泥于主谓宾句型，可以使用主系表、过去分词和现在分词短 语作状语、不定式短语作状语、状语从句等多种句型。
六级只需12句左右。全文应以短句为主，长短句相结合。句子长度的最佳排列：三长两短，所谓短句是指10个词左右的句子，不能全篇都是5、6个词的短句。同时，全文应有一定数量的长句，一般15~20词即可，太长则易冗赘。精炼的短句可以放在段首表示强调；复杂的长句可以进行具体的论证、举例或描述。
5)打开思路：第一招问为什么，比如写汽车的坏处，为什么有坏处-太贵-我国经济不发达-处于第三世界-人口多-多修停车场、道路-占耕地、拥挤等等，最后整理一下思路。
第二招，对立统一，先抨击对立面。如“大学生要了解社会”，先说有人认为大学生深入社会是浪费时间、干扰学习，世俗化等。
第三招，用比喻。比如说书的好处，像灯塔导航，像良师益友，像粮食，就生动 第四招，举例子，生动，容易理解。第五招，用排比。6）注意起承转合
7）审题、构思、列出可能用到的闪光点（句式）、把想到的好词、好句用上、检查 提高英语写作要多读、多背、多写、多改。多读、多背是首要任务，是积累输入的关键。考生应大量积累经典英文句型、表达和范文，平时勤于背诵。
上述的高分策略是提高四、六级英语写作水平最有效的方法。在练习写作的初始阶段, 可勤查语法书和字典等工具书, 背记常用词和短语，以扩大词汇量，拓展知识面。背单词时要深刻理解所背词语的内在含义，并了解其使用环境。备考时，熟记一些过渡词、句型和范文，并进行仿写。考试时，使用学习过的、熟悉而有把握的词汇和句型，没有把握的句子，尽量采取“回避政策”，切忌自编自造汉语式的英语词组和句型.三、历年题型分析（1993-2010）

写作的“七项基本原则”：
一、长 短 句原则
工作还得一张一驰呢，老让读者读长句，累死人！写一个短小精辟的句子，相反，却可以起到画龙点睛的作用。而且如果我们把短句放在段首或者段末，也可以揭示主题：
As a creature, I eat;as a man, I read.Although one action is to meet the primary need of my body and the other is to satisfy the intellectual need of mind, they are in a way quite similar.如此可见，长短句结合，抑扬顿挫，岂不爽哉？牢记！
强烈建议：在文章第一段（开头）用一长一短，且先长后短；在文章主体部分，要先用一个短句解释主要意思，然后在阐述几个要点的时候采用先短后长的句群形式，定会让主体部分妙笔生辉！文章结尾一般用一长一短就可以了。
二、主 题 句原则
国有其君，家有其主，文章也要有其主。否则会给人造成“群龙无首”之感！相信各位读过一些破烂文学，故意把主体隐藏在文章之内，结果造成我们稀里糊涂！不知所云！所以奉劝各位一定要写一个主题句，放在文章的开头（保险型）或者结尾，让读者一目了然，必会平安无事！
特别提示：隐藏主体句可是要冒险的！

四、短语优先原则
写作时，尤其是在考试时，如果使用短语，有两个好处：其
一、用短语会使文章增加亮点，如果老师们看到你的文章太简单，看不到一个自己不认识的短语，必然会看你低一等。相反，如果发现亮点—精彩的短语，那么你的文章定会得高分了。其
二、关键时刻思维短路，只有凑字数，怎么办？用短语是一个办法！比如：
I cannot bear it.可以用短语表达：I cannot put up with it.I want it.可以用短语表达：I am looking forward to it.这样字数明显增加，表达也更准确。
五、多实少虚原则
原因很简单，写文章还是应该写一些实际的东西，不要空话连篇。这就要求一定要多用实词，少用虚词。我这里所说的虚词就是指那些比较大的词。比如我们说一个很好的时候，不应该之说nice这样空洞的词，应该使用一些诸如generous, humorous, interesting, smart, gentle, warm-hearted, hospital 之类的形象词。再比如：
走出房间，general的词是：walk out of the room
但是小偷走出房间应该说：slip out of the room
小姐走出房间应该说：sail out of the room
小孩走出房间应该说：dance out of the room
老人走出房间应该说：stagger out of the room
所以多用实词，少用虚词，文章将会大放异彩！
六、多变句式原则
1）加法（串联）
都希望写下很长的句子，像个老外似的，可就是怕写错，怎么办，最保险的写长句的方法就是这些，可以在任何句子之间加and, 但最好是前后的句子又先后关系或者并列关系。比如说：
I enjor music and he is fond of playing guitar.如果是二者并列的，我们可以用一个超级句式：
Not only the fur coat is soft, but it is also warm.其它的短语可以用：
besides, furthermore, likewise, moreover
2）转折（拐弯抹角）
批评某人缺点的时候，我们总习惯先拐弯抹角说说他的优点，然后转入正题，再说缺点，这种方式虽然阴险了点，可毕竟还比较容易让人接受。所以呢，我们说话的时候，只要在要点之前先来点废话，注意二者之间用个专这次就够了。

3）因果（so, so, so）
昨天在街上我看到了一个女孩，然后我主动搭讪，然后我们去咖啡厅，然后我们认识了，然后我们成为了朋友…可见，讲故事的时候我们总要追求先后顺序，先什么，后什么，所以然后这个词就变得很常见了。其实这个词表示的是先后或因果关系！

4）失衡句（头重脚轻，或者头轻脚重）
有些人脑袋大，身体小，或者有些人脑袋小，身体大，虽然我们不希望长成这个样子，可如
果真的是这样了，也就必然会吸引别人的注意力。文章中如果出现这样的句子，就更会让考官看到你的句子与众不同。其实就是主语从句，表语从句，宾语从句的变形。
举例：This is what I can do.Whether he can go with us or not is not sure.同样主语、宾语、表语可以改成如下的复杂成分：

5）附加（多此一举）
如果有了老婆，总会遇到这样的情况，当你再讲某个人的时候，她会插一句说，我昨天见过他；或者说，就是某某某，如果把老婆的话插入到我们的话里面，那就是定语从句和同位语从句或者是插入语。
The man whom you met yesterday is a friend of mine.I don’t enjoy that book you are reading.Mr liu, our oral English teacher, is easy-going.其实很简单，同位语--要解释的东西删除后不影响整个句子的构成；定语从句—借用之前的关键词并且用其重新组成一个句子插入其中，但是whom or that 关键词必须要紧跟在先行词之前。
6）排比（排山倒海句）
文学作品中最吸引人的地方莫过于此，如果非要让你的文章更加精彩的话，那么我希望你引用一个个的排比句，一个个得对偶句，一个个的不定式，一个个地词，一个个的短语，如此表达将会使文章有排山倒海之势！

七、挑战极限原则
既然十挑战极限，必然是比较难的，但是并非不可攀！
原理：在学生的文章中，很少发现诸如独立主格的句子，其实也很简单，只要花上5分钟的时间看看就可以领会，它就是分词的一种特殊形式，分词要求主语一致，而独立主格则不然。比如：
The weather being fine, a large number of people went to climb the Western Hills.Africa is the second largest continent, its size being about three times that of China.如果您可一些出这样的句子，不得高分才怪！

一、举实例
思维短路，举实例！提出一个观点，举实例！提出一个方案，举实例！而且者也是我们揭示一个观点最好的方式，任何情况下，只要我们无法继续文章，不管三七二十一，尽管举例子！

三、换言之
没话说了，可以换一句话再说，让你的文章在多一些字，或者文邹邹地说，是让读者更充分的理解你的观点。
